Student Life & Responsibility

Student Code of Conduct

The Student Code of Conduct reflects the school’s 2026–27 discipline framework: character formation, responsibility, respect, truthfulness, safe behaviour and constructive use of time.

Standards of personal conduct

  • Take good care of health and keep physically fit and strong.
  • Be friendly and courteous to others in and out of school.
  • Accept assigned work as a rightful share and face difficulties courageously.
  • Offer help readily to family members, teachers, companions and visitors.
  • Rise respectfully when a teacher or visitor addresses the class.
  • Be truthful at all times and do not cheat or act unfairly, including at play.
  • Respect school property and premises and report damage observed.
  • Respect the liberty, rights and dignity of others, regardless of caste, colour or creed.
  • Take pride in wearing the prescribed school uniform correctly.
  • Show due respect to the Constitution, National Flag and National Anthem.
  • Avoid vulgarity in speech and behaviour and never engage in bullying or cruelty.
  • Have the confidence to say no to anything believed to be wrong.
  • Make constructive use of time rather than idle gossip.
  • Contribute a fair share towards making the world a better place to live in.

Positive discipline

The school’s framework favours correction, counselling, reflection and behaviour improvement wherever possible. Serious or repeated misconduct follows the school’s documented escalation process. Corporal punishment in any form is prohibited.

Student and parent responsibility

Students are expected to follow school rules, respect others, protect school property and use technology responsibly. Parents are expected to support the school’s discipline process, respond to diary notes and requested meetings, and reinforce school values at home.
