General School Rules

These General School Rules summarise the school-supplied 2026–27 discipline framework. Current circulars and authorised school instructions take precedence where a session-specific direction is issued.

Attendance, punctuality and assembly

  • Student reporting time is 7:50 a.m.; the school gates close at 7:55 a.m.
  • Morning assembly is compulsory. Absence from assembly due to sickness or injury requires a parent-signed note to the class teacher.
  • Late arrival to class must be explained to the subject teacher and may be recorded in the student’s Anecdotal Record.

Uniform and personal grooming

  • Full prescribed school uniform is compulsory, including examination days and whenever a student is on campus for an authorised purpose.
  • Black shoes are prescribed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; white shoes on Wednesday and Saturday, with calf-length socks.
  • Hair and personal appearance must remain neat; coloured hair and visible tattoos are not permitted.
  • Classes I–VII may not wear watches. Class VIII and above may wear a simple watch; smart or multifunctional watches are not allowed.

Prohibited items and conduct

  • Mobile phones, smart watches/bands, cameras and other unauthorised electronic gadgets are not permitted.
  • Sharp objects, jewellery, toys, aerosol sprays, energy drinks and non-vegetarian food are prohibited on campus.
  • Photographing school premises or classrooms and posting such images on social media without authorisation is prohibited.
  • Commercial transactions, lending or borrowing money/articles between students are not permitted.
  • Students may not damage or write on desks, walls or washroom walls and should report any damage observed.
  • Students should use grounds, laboratories and activity spaces only according to the authorised schedule and supervision.

Movement and student safety

  • Students collected by an attendant must wait on campus until the attendant arrives and report delays to the school office.
  • Students travelling independently should proceed directly home and must not accept anything from strangers.

Disciplinary action

Intentional damage, serious misconduct and repeated violations may lead to debarment, suspension, expulsion or refusal of readmission according to the documented school process and the Principal’s decision-making authority.
